It contains fiber and helps in slowing down the digestion process, further regulating the absorption of carbohydrates and sugar. The fenugreek water also helps in improving the way your body uses sugar.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h5>Here is the quick recipe for Methi Moong Dal Stir Fry:<\/h5>\n<p>Preparation Time : 15 | <span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Cook Time : 15 | <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Total Time : 30 | Serves 4<\/span><\/p>\n<h6>Ingredients<\/h6>\n<div class=\"recIng cfx\">\n<ul class=\"recIngNos\">\n<li class=\"ingNos\">2-3 bunches of fenugreek leaves, washed, drained &amp; chopped<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingNos\">1\/4 cup moong dal (split Green Gram), dry roasted<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingNos\">2-3 tbsp. mustard oil<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingNos\">1\/2 tsp. panch phoron<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingNos\">8-10 bori \/ vadi \/ dried lentil dumplings<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingNos\">1\/4 tsp. asafoetida<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingNos\">1 onion, chopped<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingNos\">takes 1 tsp. garlic, chopped<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingNos\">2-3 green chilies, chopped<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingNos\">1 tsp. salt or to taste<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingNos\">1\/2 tsp. turmeric powder<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingNos\">takes 1 tsp. coriander-cumin powder<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingNos\">1 tbsp. Kasumi (bottled mustard sauce) (opt)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"recDesc cfx\">\n<div class=\"recDescTitle\">\n<h6 class=\"descTitle\">Instructions<\/h6>\n<\/div>\n<ol class=\"recDescNos\">\n<li class=\"descNos cfx\">\n<div class=\"descNum\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Soak the roasted moong dal in water for 15-20 minutes. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"descNos cfx\">\n<div class=\"descNum\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Heat oil in a pan and temper with the panch phoron. After it stops spluttering, add the asafoetida.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"descNos cfx\">\n<div class=\"descNum\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Then add the bori and fry till golden color. Now add the onions, garlic, and green chilies.
